| The Wilder Research Center is evaluating the
REACH Project to document that ways in which the project makes a
difference for rural adoptive families and their children.
During the summer of 2004, a survey was mailed to 618 PATH
foster families to learn about their experiences and perceptions
about issues related to adopting children from the foster care
system. The following report of preliminary survey results
provides useful information on PATH foster families' experiences
regarding adoption - particularly in rural areas. |
